Option 1 is a full tipper load ( 5 giant bulk bags worth) of air dried English hardwoods such as Ash, Oak and Silver Birch @ £525
This wood has been air seasoned in wind rows for around 18 months and then split and stored in vented wood boxes for further seasoning and is ready for burning straight away

Option 2 is a full tipper load ( 5 giant bulk bags worth) of part seasoned English hardwoods such as Ash, Oak and Silver Birch @ £450 **
This wood has been air seasoned in wind rows for around 12 months, This wood is part seasoned and should ideally be bought with the intention of storing in a well vented place for another few weeks to make sure.
Hardwood is a great fuel source and species such as oak ash and sycamore trees have long been a symbol of strength and durability from ship building to roman and viking shield production there uses predate modern times and they are as sought after today as they ever have been. (Can i burn these logs now??? many of our customers do use them straight away although obviously for best results we would always advise that they be stored in an airy place for another few months (A useful tip is to use a few handfuls of coal and create a hot bed before introducing these logs, they will burn for AGES!!) Drying times for part seasoned wood are guidelines and will vary depending on the species,log sizes,storage and weather conditions.

Considered to be the best product for burning by most foresters softwood is great for starting your fire and tends to burn hotter than Hardwood whilst the Hardwoods will give you a slightly slower burn with lower flame
